Go Woke, Go Broke: What it Means to Be a 'Woke Company’

Recently, there have been many striking examples of companies that have gone woke and suffered reputational and financial consequences. I’m proud to be among the freedom-loving Americans standing up to businesses and corporate giants whose values don’t align with the values the United States was founded on.
Bud Light and Disney Experience Major Losses
There are many examples of woke companies, but two of the biggest companies who recently lost massive amounts of money are Bud Light and Disney. After their ad featuring Dylan Mulvaney, Bud Light’s sales experienced double-digit declines and their stock was downgraded.
Disney, which used to be known for the kind of clean,
wholesome entertainment that all

families wanted to experience, has also become an increasingly woke company. I’ll never forget the pure joy back in 2008 when my husband and I took our two young sons to Disney World, a trip made even more special when, as we entered the Hall of Presidents, an usher surprised us with the news that we had been chosen that day’s “First Family of America,” and escorted us to VIP seats for the show. Nowadays, Disney’s embrace of equity and the trans movement has resulted in hundreds of millions
of dollars in losses to the House of Mouse as
consumers reject the woke.
Navigating A “Woke” World
The woke agenda that dominates the majority of our corporate, educational, and governmental institutions is the antithesis of what America is all about.
Wokeness perpetuates victimhood. The woke mindset is one of lack, negativity, and disparity.
The woke agenda rejects equality as myth, instead promoting equity - or the socialist/marxist concepts of collectivism and redistribution - to remedy social injustice theories.
Wokeness is about dependency, not independence and freedom. The woke agenda is one of conformity, not inclusiveness and tolerance.
Being a Conservative in Corporate America
In the woke world, free speech is squelched and conservatives are expected to hide their beliefs or be canceled. I've experienced this myself in the corporate realm.
Not so long ago, it was easier to be a conservative in corporate America.
You could work alongside colleagues on the left and have cordial, respectful discussions about your different views, and then go enjoy a cordial lunch or drinks after work. Not anymore.

As the years passed, I learned to keep my conservative views to myself in the workplace. Being my authentic self carried the real risk of harm to my career.
I kept silent, letting people assume that just because I was an educated woman from New York, I was on the left. What did it matter that I couldn’t express myself freely at work, as long as I was getting ahead?
I could always go home and complain to my family and friends about how angry and resentful I was that I had to hide my true beliefs
from my colleagues and company. That made me feel better, right?
But it didn’t, because although I didn’t realize it at the time, I was sabotaging myself.
I allowed the woke corporate world to interfere with my connection to my true nature as a free, independent, exceptional being with God-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I felt trapped, tired, and stressed and I compensated by reveling in my victim-hood. My personal relationships and health were suffering from my constant complaining and focus on negativity.
Finally, I had enough and I decided that I didn’t want to choke on the woke to get ahead any more.
Walking Away from Corporate America
I walked away entirely from the woke corporate world. I started a success coaching business tailored specifically for patriotic American women. More particularly in this age where women are being erased by the woke LGBTQIA+ agenda, my business is focused on helping patriotic American women who are proud to be American and love God, family, and country; embrace American exceptionalism and ingenuity; believe in the Constitution and our constitutional republic, free speech, free market capitalism, entrepreneurship, and rugged individualism; respect the American flag; appreciate God’s bounty, equality and freedom; share a conviction that justice should be blind; celebrate the distinct characteristics that make women women and men men; and support our military and first responders.
I saw a need I knew I could fill. Patriotic American women, who could benefit from self-help and self-improvement resources such as life coaching, are often turned off by the wokeness that dominates the self-help industry. Hay House and Working Mother Media, for example, have embraced the woke agenda’s focus on equity. Hay House is a sort of clearinghouse for self-help/self-improvement resources. Many prominent life coaches participate in Hay House seminars or distribute their books and other products through Hay House. The Hay House website features a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion statement that highlights the company’s commitment to “embody the principle of equity in all that we do.” One of my proudest accomplishments was being selected Working Mother of the Year by Working Mother Magazine ten years ago. Unfortunately, in the intervening years, Working Mother Media, whose stated mission was once to “mentor, role model and advocate for moms, nationwide, who are devoted to their families and committed to their careers” has evolved into an organization that is now focused on “making transformational change within organizations to create equity and inclusion in the workplace for all.”
My Patriotic Success Coaching Services
My coaching services are built upon the concept of self-empowered success: the certainty that because of our intrinsic nature being made in the likeness of our Creator, we are all free to succeed. We are not victims. My three-pronged keystone for self-empowered success: connect define pivot℠ celebrates our nature as free, independent, exceptional beings with the capacity for wellbeing and prosperity. The keystone is aligned with the fundamental American tenets of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; and the integral aspects of being human - body, mind, and spirit.

Each of us is uniquely valuable and there is more than enough to go around. We each have exceptional characteristics that allow us to succeed and the keystone is the means to implement, expand, and optimize our success. The keystone is a practical approach by which we can quickly and easily take control of achieving our personal and professional goals.
My coaching business is about success right here and right now. I share scenarios from my life as a patriotic American woman, wife, mother, daughter, corporate executive, and entrepreneur where I used the keystone, or could have used the keystone, or could have used it better.
I’m not a guru, though.
My goal is not to have my clients and audience be dependent upon me or for me to empower them; it’s for me to share the success keystone so that they can implement, expand, and optimize it in their own lives to be self-empowered and succeed.
I have found a few coaches who target the patriotic market, but they seem to be specifically Christian or church-focused, health coaches, or therapists and counselors who offer life coaching services designed to deal with addiction or some other mental health issue that needs fixing. My coaching is aligned with the Judeo-Christian values upon which the United States was founded, but is not overtly religious or associated with any one church or religion. I am not a therapist or counselor. My business is not focused on fixing past hurts or issues but rather on facilitating my clients’ success in the here and now.
I coach all patriotic American women who want my help to quickly and easily take control of achieving their goals.

Joining Public Square (PublicSq)
I was thrilled when Public Square, “America’s marketplace in the parallel economy,” came on the scene a little over a year ago. I listed my business on Public Square and became a consumer and investor. Just as I saw a need in the self-improvement industry and filled it, Public Square filled the need for American consumers who wanted to purchase goods and services from businesses that shared their traditional values, and for patriotic, non-woke companies who wanted to grow their businesses and reach like-minded consumers.
Public Square has been well received by freedom-loving businesses and consumers across the United States. As the company highlighted in its quarterly report for the third quarter of 2023, published in November, there are now 1.6 million consumers and over 71,000 businesses on the Public Square platform.
Keep standing up for your values, America! I stand united with you.
